WSP Solicitors are delighted to announce the qualification of Bethany Fielding as a Solicitor in the firm’s Private Client Department. Bethany will be based in the firm’s Stroud Office.
Bethany’s journey in the legal profession began with her undergraduate degree in Law and American Studies at Swansea University, where she successfully graduated in 2019. Building upon her academic foundation, she undertook the Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the University of Law in Bristol, completing it in 2020.
On joining WSP Solicitors in early 2021, Bethany started as a Paralegal in the Private Client Department and after a successful Trainee interview process started her training contract in January 2022. During this time Bethany worked closely with Robert Selwood (Private Client) and Louise Kelly (Family Law) gaining experience across wills and probate, private children work, and divorce and finances. During this time Bethany received “exceptional support from the teams and professionals” she was working with as well as great trainee-focused support from Camella Cephas (Board Director and Training Principal).
Bethany has now officially earned her status as a qualified Solicitor as of January 2024.
Specialising in Wills, Probate, and Lasting Powers of Attorney, Bethany brings a wealth of knowledge to her role. What sets her apart is her keen interest in Private Client law, driven by the fact that “no two cases are ever the same.” This mindset reflects her commitment to addressing the unique needs of each client she serves.
Bethany’s expertise is not limited to legal complexities; she places a strong emphasis on client satisfaction and accessibility. In her own words, she aims to “simplify the legal process, ensuring that her clients understand every step without being bogged down by legal jargon”. Her approach is especially crucial in her chosen areas of law, where clients often navigate sensitive matters such as wills and probate.
Understanding that legal proceedings can be challenging for individuals, Bethany takes the time to prioritise her clients’ needs. Her goal is to make the legal process as straightforward as possible, even during what can be a difficult time for people dealing with matters related to Wills, Probate, and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
Robert Selwood, co-head of Private Client at WSP Solicitors has said “We truly recognise Bethany Fielding’s achievements, and we are all confident that her expertise will significantly contribute to the continued success of WSP’s Private Client Department”. Bethany’s dedication to providing clear and accessible legal guidance aligns seamlessly with the firm’s commitment to approachable, uncomplicated, and trusted client-focused service.
On being part of WSP Solicitors, Bethany said “I have received exceptional support from the teams and professionals across the business, during my time as a trainee. Everyone I have worked with in the firm is team-spirited and willing to help anyone, clients, or staff. I am looking forward to building my caseload and growing as a professional in a busy and exciting department at WSP”.
As Bethany embarks on this new chapter in her career, the entire WSP Solicitors team congratulates her on this significant accomplishment and looks forward to witnessing her continued success in serving the legal needs of the community.
