WSP Solicitors announce sponsorship partnership with the Gloucestershire Gladiators – University of Gloucestershire American Football Club.
WSP Solicitors have confirmed sponsorship of the University of Gloucestershire American Football Club, the Gloucestershire Gladiators.
The Gloucestershire Gladiators compete in the South West 2A League and are a mixed American football team, taking players of all experience and skill levels.
The partnership is a product of Club Vice-Captain Isobel Jary, who is also an active member of the University Law Society, reaching out after the firm presented at a University Legal careers event.
WSP Solicitors have been truly active in their support of Gloucestershire sports clubs over the past few years, notably working closely with the Hartpury University Netball Academy and as Gloucester Rugby Business Club members to name a few.
On the partnership Head of Marketing and Business Development for WSP Solicitors, Silas Miller said “It is fantastic to have such a wide association with sports clubs at all levels in the county. As an alumnus of the University of Gloucestershire myself I am truly proud to be able to give back to a club that holds a special place in my heart and hope to see them go from strength to strength this year!”.
The club is coming off a 2022-23 season which saw them reach the BUCS national playoffs after finishing second in their division. Isobel Jary discussed the impact WSP’s sponsorship will have saying it “will allow for the purchase of high-quality training and game-day balls as well as supporting our coach’s development. This will mean we can set our minds on making the playoffs again, and beyond this coming season”.
