Dursley Office Closure – March 2023

Please see the below statement from Managing Director Judi Bonham, regarding the closure of WSP Solicitors’ Dursley Branch Office.

“WSP Solicitors will be closing our Dursley Office at 26 Long Street. The planned closure will take place by 24th March 2023.

This decision has not been made lightly. The building at 26 Long Street is no longer able to fulfill the needs of the business and after a considerable local search, we could not find premises within the town that met our requirements. This led to the decision to close Long Street and relocate all staff and services to our Stroud Office at 3-7 Rowcroft (GL5 3BJ).

Our aim is to make this transition as smooth as possible for our clients and the Dursley community. This closure is now being considered as part of the wider strategy for the firm, in which we are looking at improving and expanding how we serve the Gloucestershire community more effectively and efficiently.

As a client of WSP Solicitors in the past, the following information should answer any questions you may have:

• We would like to reassure you that any documents stored on your behalf, for instance; wills, deeds, and power of attorney, will remain safely stored at no cost to you and are available on request from any of our offices.
• This change will not impact the service you receive from WSP Solicitors. We will still have the same level of availability and contact that has always been provided by our Solicitors in the past.
• Should you need us to act on your behalf again, we are able to and would be more than happy to remain your trusted legal advisors.
