WSP Solicitors strengthen Residential Conveyancing Department amidst tough market.
Current headlines are dominated with house prices falling and mortgage rates increasing. However, with all the background noise, property transactions are still taking place. Across the legal profession, the recruitment market is also experiencing turbulence, creating challenges for law firms nationally.
Leading Stroud and Gloucester based Law Firm, WSP Solicitors have recruited Solicitor Lorraine Bruton to join their Residential Conveyancing Department. Lorraine will be based in the firm’s Gloucester Office on London Road.
Lucy McCallum, Board Director, and Head of Residential Conveyancing said of the appointment “We have all known Lorraine for a long time and worked with her on many transactions in the past. The whole department is delighted to have Lorraine join the team and we know she will fit in perfectly with our culture and values as a business”.
Since qualifying in 2002, Lorraine has amassed over 20 years’ experience practising in property law, predominantly working in Gloucestershire. She has worked on property transactions across the whole of England and Wales.
Experienced in all areas of property law, including house sales, purchases, mortgages and transfers of equity, Lorraine is also a specialist in the de-regulation of common land.
On joining WSP Solicitors, Lorraine said she is “looking forward to the opportunities a new challenge will bring with WSP and I am excited to be part of a lovely team, whom I have known and worked alongside for a long time”.
This announcement comes just before WSP Solicitors are set to launch their new app, specifically for conveyancing clients. The app will allow on-the-go access to your solicitor, mobile signing and access to documents, simple ID checking and will positively impact the way in which WSP Solicitors can complete property transactions. A continuation of the pledge from WSP Solicitors to make Life, Less Complicated for their clients.
