We’re moving: an exciting new chapter for WSP Solicitors in Stroud

If you’ve visited us in Stroud, you’ll know our Rowcroft office well. It’s where many of you have made a Will or sat down with us to plan the next step for your business. The time has come for the next chapter for WSP Solicitors, and we will be moving out of this office into a new office just outside the town centre.

What’s happening and when

We’re planning to move into our new office in the new year. Our Rowcroft office will stay open until we move, and we’ll make sure there’s no gap in the service you receive while we move.

We’ll confirm our new address shortly. We’re finalising the last details now, and we’ll write to all of our clients directly with the address and everything you need to know before we share it anywhere else.

Why we’re moving

We love Rowcroft, but the way people use legal services has changed, and our clients’ needs have changed with it. You want advice that’s easy to access, whether you pop in, call us, or talk to us online. Our new office, with more meeting space, lots of parking and improved infrastructure, will help us do that better.

We also want to make sure that everyone who wants to see us can. The new office is fully accessible, and also has easy links to the M5, which matters for our clients across Gloucestershire and the South West

We’re staying local

Of course, we’re not leaving Stroud behind.

We’ve been offering straightforward legal advice to local people and businesses for over 260 years. Our roots go back to 1758, through Penleys, Winterbothams and A E Smith & Son. That history is built on being part of this community, and has seen us housed at many buildings within the local area.

Our new office is only a 10-minute drive from Stroud town centre. We’ll keep supporting local causes, including our charity partner Maggies, and we’ll continue to champion the community and events that make this area what it is.

What this means for you

In short, very little changes for you:

• Your matter will carry on as normal, with the same people looking after it.
• Our phone numbers and email addresses will stay the same.
• Our Gloucester office is not affected.

If you have an appointment booked and you would usually meet us at Rowcroft, we’ll be in touch well ahead of the move to confirm where to meet us.

“Rowcroft has been a big part of our story, and we’ll be sad to leave it. But this move is about the future. We’re growing, and we want an office that makes it easier for our clients to come and see us and feel at home when they walk through the door. We’ve always said we’re here to make life less complicated for the people and businesses we work with. This is us putting that into practice. We’re really looking forward to welcoming you to our new home.”
