Following new senior appointments at WSP Solicitors at the end of 2020, further internal promotions to salaried Director have been made.

Amy Leivers, Kirstie Carr and Lucy McCallum, all Department Heads across Private Client and Commercial & Residential Property, will be taking on their new roles as salaried Directors of the business from 1st July 2021.

When speaking of the appointments, Judi Bonham Managing Director of WSP Solicitors said “All 3 lawyers have played a key role in leading their respective teams through the pandemic and supporting their departments. These appointments will strengthen our Board going forward and their progression is testament to their hard work and contribution to WSP Solicitors”.

Amy Leivers is Head of WSP Solicitors’ specialist Commercial Property Department. After joining the WSP Solicitors Property team in 2017, Amy quickly became Head of Commercial Property in 2019 as an Associate. This move to Director level is testament to Amy’s dedication to coaching and nurturing the Commercial Property Team and really growing their experience and specialism within the area of law.

Kirstie Carr became Head of the Private Client Department at WSP Solicitors in 2021 after joining WSP’s Wills, Trusts and Probate team in 2016, where in 2018 she was made an Associate. A keen Ultra-Marathon runner Kirstie’s dedication and commitment to task is obvious personally and professionally. With over 17 years of experience working with clients on the preparation of Wills and powers of attorney, setting up and administering trusts, tax knowledge and estate administration. Kirstie’s aim is to build detailed and lasting relationships and to offer prudent and practical advice to her clients.

Lucy McCallum took over as Head of WSP Solicitors Residential Property Conveyancing Department in 2020 as an Associate at the firm. Lucy has steered the team through what has been a turbulent period in the property market caused by the pandemic and resulting Stamp Duty Holiday, which has just come to an end. Clients of the firm have remarked the team has “exceeded expectations” throughout this period, which can be attributed to the fantastic leadership Lucy has shown.

WSP Solicitors will continue to grow and support its staff so that the firm can proceed to provide an excellent level of service to the communities they serve. Internal promotions such as this provide a fantastic morale boost within teams and allow WSP to recognize the brilliant work leaders at the business are doing.
