Residential Conveyancing – Paralegal

At WSP Solicitors, you’re not just joining a law firm, you’re becoming part of a team that’s been supporting people across Gloucestershire for over 250 years.

What matters here is simple: helping clients feel supported, informed, and confident at important moments in their lives. As a Paralegal in our Residential Conveyancing team, you’ll play a real part in that, making the legal process feel human, clear, and achievable.

This is a place where you’re trusted to contribute, encouraged to grow, and supported every step of the way.

What your role will look like

From your first day, you’ll be involved in meaningful work, supporting experienced Legal Practitioners and helping clients move forward with confidence.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Be the first point of contact for new enquiries, helping clients understand their situation and next steps
  • Support the onboarding process so every client starts with clarity and confidence
  • Work closely with Legal Practitioners to keep matters progressing smoothly
  • Draft documents, emails and correspondence that contribute to real transactions
  • Carry out legal research and apply it in practical, client-focused ways
  • Help prepare matters for completion and see transactions through key milestones
  • Attend meetings with clients and build confidence in professional communication
  • Support compliance processes, including conflict checks, risk analysis, and reviewing documentation
  • Keep files organised, accurate, and up to date
  • Learn how financial aspects of cases work, from time recording to preparing invoices

This is hands-on, practical learning, giving you the foundations you need to build a long-term legal career.
