A great turn-out at our ever successful charity quiz night

There were lots of tricky questions answered, lots of Fat Toni’s pizza consumed and a fantastic amount of money raised at another great quiz night last week. WSP Solicitors played co-host with Randall & Payne to a trivia-filled evening at the hugely successful annual fundraising event.

The event, which took place at Marling School in Stroud, attracted over 100 local people from businesses in and around Gloucestershire. This year we invited Faye Hatcher from BBC Radio Gloucestershire to be our quiz master.

An annual event now in it’s 11th year, the quiz raises much needed funds for local charities. Our chosen charities this year, Allsorts and Scoo-B-Doo, will be receiving an incredible combined total of £2400!

Allsorts

Allsorts supports over 300 disabled children and their families in Gloucestershire. A Toy Library and Play Space in Stroud, allows members and members of the public to borrow a wide range of sensory toys, relax in sensory and music rooms, and meet with other families in a cosy social space.

Scoo-B-Doo

Scoo-B-Doo supports the Neonatal Unit at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital in caring for sick and premature babies from Gloucestershire and beyond.
Over 80% of the equipment used on the ward every day has been funded by Scoo-B-Doo, helping to ensure the babies are given the best possible care.

And the winners are…

After 100 questions, the winning team ‘Can you repeat the question’ finally came out on top with 81 points and a bottle of champagne each to celebrate their victory.

A huge thank you to everyone who came and supported the event. We hope to see you all again next year! Be sure to sign up to our emailing list to be invited to future events.
