Lydia Hackett starts training contract with WSP Solicitors
WSP Solicitors are pleased to announce that from April 2023, Lydia Hackett will be starting her Training Contract with the business.
Lydia has been a Paralegal in WSP Solicitors Family law Department, working in Divorce and Matrimonial Law since joining the firm. She will be moving into her first seat in Child Care as part of a Family Law specific training contract. This rare, specialised offering will also see Lydia take on seats in Private Family Law, covering Children and Domestic Abuse and finishing back in Divorce and Matrimonial finances.
After graduating from Plymouth University with a Geography degree in 2018, Lydia went on to study for a Graduate Diploma in Law at the University of the West of England. She is currently studying towards her LPC at the University of Law, Bristol, which she is due to complete in 2023.
Since joining the business, Lydia has gone from strength to strength within the department and has truly adopted an empathetic and friendly approach, allowing her to gain real understanding of her clients’ situations, creating an environment where everyone can work towards the best overall outcome. As a trainee, Lydia will continue to support clients of WSP whilst building her own client base and carrying her own caseload too.
Of the opportunity Lydia has said “I am so excited for this new challenge in my career. Working closely with such an experienced group of family solicitors will really support me to become one myself.”
Congratulations Lydia and good luck over the next few years!
