Henry III, the Boy King – a lecture by Tim Porter
A great evening was had by WSP at the Henry III lecture on 21st April, as arranged by The Friends of Gloucester Cathedral (FOGC). Tim Porter, lecturer in history, music and medieval studies, gave a talk to set the scene for this significant year in the Cathedral’s history – celebrating the 800th anniversary of the Coronation of Henry III as well as the 90th birthday of Her Majesty the Queen.
Judi Bonham, Managing Partner of WSP Solicitors, introduced the talk and explained how great it was to sponsor such a special event.
FOGC organise a number of events throughout the year to fundraise in order to ensure the future well-being of the Cathedral and to promote group membership. To view a list of the upcoming events FOGC have planned or to find out more about how to become a member please click here.
The next FOGC event sponsored by WSP Solicitors will be the Three Choirs Festival on 27th July.
