Position: Fee earner role within established Commercial Department
Experience: Minimum 3 years PQE. Proven background in all aspects of company commercial law including buying and selling businesses.
Based at an Award Winning multi-office firm in the Cotswolds with a strong client base and excellent reputation for providing a full range of legal services to both private and commercial clients. Commercial work is a targeted key growth area. Candidates must be able to demonstrate experience of strategic marketing and networking bringing new high quality clients to the firm and have the ability to deal with a broad range of clients. Commercially aware and willing to really put your client first and actively go out into the surrounding area to promote and market the firm.
The successful candidate will be able to communicate very well in writing using correct grammar and plain English; demonstrate understanding of the preparation of sale and purchase agreements and other technically demanding documents; good working knowledge of the Companies Act 2006 and contract law. The ability and willingness to learn and manage workload in an efficient and organised manner and meet clients’ demanding requirements will be the forefront of the successful candidate’s skill set.
Head of Department requires able support from a dedicated commercial solicitor who will also become involved in the marketing and internal development aspects of the department. A friendly and close-knit team. Excellent opportunity to gain skills and experience, lots of direct client contact, help in the development of a long established, forward thinking and expanding firm.
