Yevhenii is a paralegal in WSP Solicitors’ Company Commercial Department based in the firm’s Gloucester Office, on London Road.
Yevhenii is a registered foreign lawyer in the UK – Ukraine-qualified Lawyer and Arbitration Manager with extensive experience in civil, criminal, commercial and property law, adept at handling high-value legal cases to deliver profitable client solutions.
Yevhenii is one of 10 Law Society DAS awardees 2022, he is studying at the SQE-1 Premium course QLTS School and plans to take the SQE-1 in January 2024 towards qualifying as a UK solicitor.
Taking into account the requirements of the Solicitors Regulation Authority, including the SRA’s decision of February 2023, as a Ukrainian lawyer with the necessary experience and successful legal practice in complex cases in all types of litigation in Ukraine, Yevhenii will be exempt from the need to undergo two-year Qualifying work experience, and will most likely be exempted from taking the SQE-2. Therefore, it is likely that next year Yevhenii will join the ranks of solicitors of England and Wales.
Yevhenii is currently assisting Commercial Director Peter Mardon as a paralegal.
When dealing with clients, Yevhenii is resourceful, innovative, and forensically analytical whilst showing real understanding towards clients’ situations. He is proactive and truly focused on problem solving and driving strong commercial results.
Yevhenii can speak Ukrainian and Russian with any clients who may need these languages.
