Amie Calder qualified as a Solicitor in 2015, and has been working in family law ever since. She joined the WSP Family Law team in February 2018. The majority of her time has been spent on cases involving injunctions, contact disputes and care proceedings. Amie is a specialist in domestic abuse cases and has considerable experience in representing clients who are victims of domestic violence.
Amie takes a sympathetic approach in trying to establish a client’s wishes and concerns, and gives clear and tailored advice to help meet their needs. She is a member of Resolution, and as such tries to assist clients in reaching an amicable agreement where possible. If this is not possible, Amie represents clients at court where necessary.
Amie qualified as a Resolution Accredited Specialist for Children and Domestic Violence work in February 2020.
