Options for funding your personal injury claim
No win no fee personal injury claims
Most personal injury claims we handle are funded on a no win, no fee basis using a Conditional Fee Agreement (CFA). This allows you to start a claim without having to pay anything upfront and means our fees will only be applied if we succeed in winning compensation for you.
If your claim does not succeed and you do not receive any compensation, you will not owe us a penny. Should your claim succeed, our fees will be capped at 25% of your claim’s value (past losses only) and, in many cases, our fees can be recovered from the defendant.
The key benefits of no win, no fee funding are that it means you do not have to worry about finding the money to fund your claim and there is no financial risk to you in pursuing personal injury compensation.
Trade union funding for workplace injury claims
If you are a member of a trade union, they may be able to fund some or all of the cost of making a work accident claim. This is worth discussing with your union representative at the earliest opportunity and we will be happy to liaise with your union on this.
Legal expenses insurance for personal claims
If you have legal expenses insurance (frequently offered alongside car insurance and home insurance), then you may want to use this to fund some or all of your legal fees. Our personal injury solicitors can advise on the suitability of this option, so you can make the best choice for you.
